IMI conducts extensive Training Programs

This June, IMI conducted extensive training programs in various parts of the country. The schedule was as below :-

• Training held for officers at the Police Training Academy Gulbarga and Mysore, Karnataka on the 29th of June for 84 and 80 officers respectively.

• Training held for 150 Sub Inspectors attending the refresher-course at Police Training College Assam on the 14th June.

The response to the training seminars have been phenomenal and in view of this IMI has planned to periodically conduct such seminars all across the country. Through such training seminars the IMI not only injects the legal system with the operation plan and preparedness against piracy but also upgrades the system in the various new tactics deployed to spread piracy.
