RAID REPORT ON THE MOBILE CHIP PIRATES
Delhi : A Mobile Chip recording unit was searched in Kalyanpuri, Delhi on 12th April. 1 Computer, 2 Mobile Chips, 2 cards readers, 4 MP3 CDs and 4 playstation games were seized. Owner Rajesh was arrested.
Delhi : A mobile chip piracy raid was conducted in Trilokpuri, Delhi on 28th April. 1 Computer, 3 Chips, 1 CD Writer and 31 MP3 CDs were seized. Owner Hafiz Mehtab was arrested.
Chennai, T.N. : In a Mobile Chip piracy raid a shop called Sripaul Cell City & Electronics was searched in Velapanchavadi area of Chennai on 24th April. 1 Computer/CD Writer, 160 MP3 CDs, 17 pirated VCDs, 1 mobile chip and 1 cards reader were seized. Owner Roshanlal was arrested and remanded to 15 days judicial custody.
Chennai, T.N. : Shop no. 18 was searched in Burma Bazaar, Chennai on 3rd April. The owner was engged in Mobile Chip piracy by sselling recorded chips. 20 MP3 CDs, 2210 pirated DVDs and 2 memory cards were seized. Owner Majeet was arrested and remanded to 15 days judicial custody.
Nellore, A.P. : 4 raids were simultaneously conducted in Subedarpeta, A.P. on 10th April. 3 Computers, 28 MP3 CDs, 29 pirated VCDs, 914 pirated DVDs, 6 Mobile Chips and 3 card readers were seized. 4 persons were arrested.
Jaipur, Rajasthan : 1 Computer/CD Writer, 1 MP3 CD, 11 blank CDRs, 119 pirated VCDs and 100 pirated DVDs were seized on 5th April in Jaipur. Owner Sanjai Sain was arrested.
