IMI conducts extensive Training Programs

This April, IMI conducted extensive training programs in various parts of the country. The schedule was as below :-

• A Training program was held in the Police Academy of the North Eastern States, Shillong on 19th April 2007.
  
• Lectures were given at the LNJN National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, Delhi by Mr. Bhatia on 16th April.
  
• Lectures given to theCustoms officers by Mr. Bhatia and Mr. Sharma on IPR issues at the FICCI Workshops held in Chennai on 26th April and Mumbai on 28th April respectively.

The response to all the training seminars have been phenomenal and in view of this IMI has planned to periodically conduct such seminars all across the country. Through such training seminars the IMI not only injects the legal system with the operation plan and preparedness against piracy but also upgrades system in the various new tactics deployed to spread piracy.
