Mass Raids In August

Chennai, T.N. :-  Simultaneous raids were conducted on 6 vendors at Ambattur, Burma Bazaar, Kodambakkam, Kandhansavadi and Nungambakkam area of Chennai on 22nd August.  786 MP3 CDs and 2644 pirated DVDs were seized.  6 persons were arrested and remanded to 15 days judicial custody. 

Chennai, T.N. :-  5 premises were simultaneously searched in Anna Salai, Kamarajar Salai and Kandanashvadi area of Chennai on 23rd August.  597 MP3 CDs and 2135 pirated DVDs were seized.  5 persons were arrested and remanded to 15 days judicial custody.

Dist. Nellore, A.P. :-  A shop and 4 vendors were simultaneously raided in Trunk Road, Dist. Nellore on 19th August.  3314 pirated DVDs/MP3 CDs were seized.  5 persons were arrested.

The RAID-GAME has just begun...

A shop called New Kilgun/Game Collection was searched in Chembur (E), Mumbai on 13th August.  91 Sony Playstation games CDs, 21 X box CDs and 918 PC game CDs were seized.  2 persons, Ashfaq Qureshi and Saddiq Sayyad were arrested.
