RAID REPORT ON THE MOBILE CHIP PIRATES
Amritsar, Punjab : A shop called Swiss Times Center was searched in Sundar Nagar, Amritsar City on 16th August. 13 Mobile Chips, 1 Computer/CD Writer and 1 Card reader were seized. Owner Pradeep Kumar Verma was arrested.
Chandigarh, Punjab : A shop called Sunny Electronics was searched in Sector 20-D, Chandigarh on 16th August. 1 Computer, 1 Mobile Chip, 1 Card reader and 5 MP3 CDs were seized. Owner Ashwani Kumar was arrested.
Dist. Mehboob Nagar, A.P. : Simultaneous raids were conducted on 5 shops, Maharaja Sports, Sri Chakra Mobile, Srinivasa Mobile, Cell World and Connecting Mobile near Modern High School, Mehboob Nagar on 6th August. 5 Computers, 20 Mobile Chips and 5 card resders were recovered. 5 persons were arrested.
Faridkot, Punjab : A shop called Sanjay Studio and residential premise in Balmiki Colony was searched near Bus Stand, Jaiton in Faridkot, Punjab on 10th August. 26 Mobile Chips, 1 Computer and 1 Card Reader were seized. 3 persons Amritpal, Ravi Kumar and Karamjit Singh were arrested.
